Sagada Etag Festival parade


The parade started at Daoangan with street dancing participated by delegates from each of the 19 barangays of  the town

Other Sagada Etag Fest events

Songwriting and concert at the community court. A-Pride of Antadao National High School  wins 1st place in the band category. Bangaan National High gets 2nd place in duet, and Antadao National High bags 1st prize in the solo entry.

Press Conference@the CSMV Frontage

Following the  parade and the cultural presentations at the softball ground,  a press conference  was held.at the frontage of the Church of St Mary the Virgin.

Elder  Aspil Dongcuan says etag is made  in three ways- smoking, drying, and  preserving  it wet in a jar.

Cultural presentations by zone@the softball ground

 The 19 barangays of  Sagada divided in zones performed street dancing and cultural presentations at the softball ground  at the opening of the Etag Festival  last January 29, 2011. The five zones are central (Patay, Dagdag, Demang), south central (Ambasing, Balugan), southern (Suyo, Ankileng, Nacagang, Taccong, Payag-eo),northern (Bangaan, Madongo, Pide, Aguid, Fidelisan, Tanulong), and eastern ( Teep-an Sur, Tetep-an Norte, Kilong, Antadao).
